Dear Amigo,
Let’s talk about stories.
Any story that persists, that’s passed down through generations, that embeds itself in the common subconscious of an entire culture, and that is told and retold in a variety of media, must be true on a deeper, mythological, psychological level. In other words, all stories are true stories, even the ones that aren’t.
When you think about it, how can an untrue story ever exist?
That’s all for today. I’ll see you tomorrow.
Yours trully,
And–in the words of the immortal Scott P. Scheper– remember to stay crispy, my friend,
Jacob Tullos
“The only adult you’ll meet today that believe in Santa Claus.”
